This 30-minute online webinar explains how UK exporters register with HMRC through the UK-India FTA portal so that their goods can qualify for reduced tariffs when exported to India. It covers whether a business needs to register, what information is required, how to use the portal, and the responsibilities that follow registration, including submitting origin declarations. Speakers are Rachel Spiegelhalter from the Department for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade and William Buckley, a policy adviser and trade negotiator at HMRC. It suits businesses that export, or plan to export, goods to India.
