About this event

This full-day, interactive course covers the import procedure, from key considerations when buying from a third country to customs declarations, import documents and licences, Incoterms, commodity codes and origin, customs valuation, preferential treatment, and calculating import VAT and duty. It is aimed at businesses wanting to become trade compliant without overpaying on duty. Attendees take a multiple-choice exam, and passing earns a British Chamber of Commerce accredited certificate that counts towards the BCC Foundation Award in International Trade.
